Job Description

Education

  • LLB/LLM from any reputed university.

Experience

    • 2 to 3 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Garments, Law Firm, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Active member of the Bar Association in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Working experience in corporate law chambers, employee disciplinary process, mediator and regulatory process will be an added advantage.

  • Proven track record in successfully closing labor related issues.

  • Ability to interpret and apply legal requirements effectively.

  • Excellent in Data Analysis, Documentations and Information Management.

  • Must have advanced level knowledge both in written English and Bengali for drafting.

  • Must be proficient in Office applications and relevant IT equipment.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Draft or verify drafts done by others related to and following up employee disciplinary actions and grievance management.

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant labor laws, labor rule, regulations and other statutory requirements circulated by official gazettes by the Government time to time in Bangladesh.

  • Maintain liaison with government offices, regulatory bodies, and external agencies as needed.

  • Ensure that our HR practices, policies, and procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regularly review and update internal policies to reflect any legal changes.

  • Maintain files and Keep records of administrative actions including disciplinary procedures and other documentations as instructed by the seniors.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and managers on given topics and modules unless newly developed.

  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of compliance initiatives and internal controls. Identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures to enhance compliance practices
