Job Description

Responsibilities & Context

The QC Executive is responsible for ensuring all incoming, in-process, and outgoing products meet quality and compliance standards. This role oversees inspection, verification, documentation, and coordination with warehouse, inbound, and procurement teams to maintain product accuracy, prevent defects, reduce returns, and uphold customer satisfaction. The position also supports root-cause analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of warehouse quality processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Verify items against PO, invoice, packing list, and sample standards
  • Check for damages, defects, incorrect items, missing accessories, or packaging issues
  • Prepare QC reports and communicate issues to procurement/inbound teams
  • Tag and separate rejected, damaged, or non-conforming items
  • Maintain accurate QC logs, test results, and inspection records
  • Update ERP/WMS with QC status (Approved/Rejected/Hold)
  • Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and segregation of approved vs. rejected items
  • Ensure correct item, size, color, and quantity during picking and packing
  • Perform random quality checks before order dispatch
  • Check packaging quality, sealing, and shipment readiness
  • Inspect customer returns for damage, defects, and authenticity
  • Categorize returns as resellable, repairable, or non-sellable
  • Identify root causes of repeat return issues
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in QC, warehouse operations, or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of product inspection, defects, and packaging standards
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems for QC updates
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain detailed quality documentation
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills
