Job Description

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • University of Dhaka,Jahangirnagar University,North South University,Bangladesh University of Professionals,Independent University, Bangladesh students will get preference

Experience

    • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Garments/RMG factory Compliance Department.

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (amended) and all relevant labor rules.

  • Good understanding of social compliance standards, factory audits, and buyer requirements.

  • Experience handling CAP, audit preparation, and factory compliance documentation.

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with buyers, auditors, and internal teams.

  • Ability to analyze compliance risks and implement sustainable improvement measures.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and report writing.


Responsibilities & Context

  1. Ensure the factory complies with all local labor laws, including working hours, wages, benefits, and employment practices.

  2. Maintain updated knowledge of buyer compliance standards (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, Accord/Alliance, etc.) and ensure implementation in the factory.

  3. Prepare the factory for social, QMS, technical, environmental, and CTPAT audits.

  4. Conduct regular internal compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

  5. Monitor worker welfare, canteen, dormitory, safety, and medical facilities to ensure they meet compliance standards.

  6. Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAP) in coordination with department heads.

  7. Maintain accurate documentation, policies, and records required by buyers and auditors.

  8. Conduct training programs on compliance, workplace safety, and labor rights for workers and supervisors.

  9. Ensure proper operation of grievance handling mechanisms, anti-harassment committees, and worker participation committees.

  10. Investigate compliance issues, resolve findings, and follow up on improvement areas.

  11. Track and update all compliance-related KPIs and prepare reports for management.
