Job Description
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc)
- Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience

- At least 5 years

Responsibilities & Context
Job Purpose: To impact quality teaching as per the curriculum, syllabus and ensure effective use of resources.
Job Responsibilities:

To work as in charge of the department & laboratory in the concerned discipline.

Planning and Implementation of Curriculum Development.
-
Development of Resource Material.
-
Participation in Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities.
-
Student guidance and counselling and helping in their career shaping and personality development.
-
Innovation in technician education and evaluation.
-
Providing leadership in teaching Diploma courses.
-
Promotion and Coordinating continuing Education Activities.
-
Self-development through up-gradation of knowledge and skills.
-
Officer In charge attendance/ examination.
-
To teach the students as per academic schedules and curriculum.
-
To develop lesson plan and workshop/laboratory instruction sheet.
-
To supervise/monitor the works/tasks of the student in the classes.

To render additional support in making a concept/subject issue.

To associate the students with the co-curricular activities.

To motivate and counsel students to ensure regular attendee in the classes.

To communicate with parents/guardian in relevant cases.

To assist in admission of students in the UCEP.

To maintain students’ profile and examination records.

To prepare and maintain documents related to BTEB as per requirement.

To make effective use/re-use of teaching resources and equipment etc.

To carry out periodic/timely maintenance of the teaching equipment etc.

To assist in preparing departmental budget (if any).

To maintain total secrecy and confidentiality in respect of the institutional affairs and uphold the dignity of the institution.

To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the UCEP authority/principal/vice-principal.

Compensation & Other Benefits
Monthly Salary: BDT. 44,698/- TDS (Tax deducted at source) and any other statutory deductions will be applied as per government rules and UCEP policies.
Other Benefits: As per the policies of UCEP Polytechnic.
