Job Description
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Designing
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field from a reputed institution.
- Professional certification in Garment/Fashion Designing will be an added advantage.
Experience

1–2 years of relevant experience in garment/fashion design.

Freshers with strong design skills and portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and fabrics.

Proficiency in design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, CAD).

Creative mindset with attention to detail and trend awareness.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities

Develop creative garment designs based on buyer requirements, trends, and market demand.

Create sketches, CADs, and tech packs with accurate specifications.

Work closely with the merchandising and production team to ensure design feasibility.

Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for new collections.
-
Prepare samples and coordinate with sample section for timely execution.

Research global fashion trends, colors, and materials to implement innovative ideas.
-
Ensure all designs meet quality standards and buyer expectations.

Assist in product presentation for buyers and exhibitions.
