- Have knowledge and skill on updated accounts system.
- Skill on using accounting software.
- Have experience on GOB VAT and Tax policy.
- Have working experience with different Stakeholders.
- Skill on reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Has team approach.
- Has good skill on Computer Operation (MS Word, Excel, Power point, Internet browsing, etc.).
- Age limit can be relaxed for the exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities & Context
READI (Research Evaluation And Development Initiative), a national NGO, is working for developing the condition and position of target beneficiaries in Bangladesh on different issues including human rights, health hygiene nutrition, education, WASH, climate change, skills and employment generation since 2015. READI is now looking for a really deserving candidate for the above position for its head quarter in the core team.
Reportable to:Â The Accounts Officer will be reportable to the Executive Director until or unless assigned to another one.
Main roles and responsibility:
- Ensure to implement organizational finance and procurement policy.
- Maintain accounts related books and accounts.
- Manage advance and bank accounts.
- Assist to prepare budget.
- Do NGO Affair’s Bureau related tasks.
- Analysis of different types of expenditure of projects and organization and recommend the program and management to take necessary reviewed actions.
- Communicate with project team for smooth expenditure and implementation.
- Prepare, review and assist to ensure the budget implementation.
- Monitor all the project expenditure and procurement.
- Prepare and document fraud or misappropriation report.
- Prepare the internal financial monitoring report and submit to related authorities.
- Support an assist to conduct Audit.
- Assist to prepare the fixed asset/logistics reports and ensure its best use.
- Prepare financial reports as per organization’s and project requirements.
- Coordination and communication with related different stakeholders.
- Assist the program team.
- Ensure and prepare periodical financial report.
