Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Production, Furniture Design, or any relevant discipline.
  • Additional training or certification in production management will be considered an advantage.

Experience

    • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Furniture Manufacturer, Furniture

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or factory management.

  • Prior experience in managing a furniture production factory is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Sound knowledge of furniture production processes, materials, machinery, and finishing techniques.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

  • Good communication and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems will be an added advantage.

We are currently looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented professional for the position of Manager – Furniture Factory to lead and manage overall factory operations efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations of the furniture factory, including production, planning, quality control, and maintenance.

  • Ensure production targets are achieved within the scheduled timeline while maintaining quality standards.

  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes for maximum productivity and cost efficiency.

  • Supervise factory manpower, production supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, and support staff.

  • Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize production wastage.

  • Maintain strict quality control standards for all finished products.

  • Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and compliance with company policies.

  • Coordinate with procurement, design, store, and sales departments for smooth operational workflow.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and operational reports for management.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to improve factory performance.

  • Maintain machinery and equipment through regular inspection and preventive maintenance planning.
