Responsibilities & Context

The Assistant Manager – Protocol Service & Expatriate Management is responsible for overseeing end-to-end expatriate management, licensing, immigration compliance, and protocol services. The role ensures timely processing of visas, work permits, security clearances, and regulatory approvals (including BIDA), while facilitating smooth onboarding in compliance with Group policies and local labor laws. The position also supervises international travel logistics, airport protocol services, and cost-effective travel arrangements, ensuring seamless coordination with government authorities, travel agencies, and internal stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Publish job advertisements for expatriate positions as per approved manpower requirements.

  • Manage licensing processes, BIDA documentation and other regulatory submissions.

  • Coordinate with relevant government authorities for security clearance, immigration procedures, and work permits.

  • Facilitate onboarding of expatriate employees ensuring compliance with Group policies.

  • Handle visa processing and documentation for inbound and outbound expatriates.

  • Ensure timely renewal of employment agreements, work permits, visas, and other statutory permits.

  • Arrange international travel logistics including air ticket issuance, hotel bookings, bill settlement, and airport protocol services.

  • Coordinate between employees and travel agencies to ensure smooth travel experiences.

  • Initiate and implement cost-effective methods for air ticket issuance and hotel bookings.

  • Prepare and maintain regular reports related to expatriate status, visa timelines, permits, and travel activities.

  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness for all expatriate-related activities.
