Responsibilities & Context
ROLE PURPOSE
-
To act as the single point of ownership for all administrative control, data accuracy, escalation discipline, and SOP enforcement across all Masala Bazaar stores.
-
This role ensures that systems are accurate, controls are followed, and risks are escalated, enabling smooth multi-store operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Governance & Control
-
Own and enforce all Admin & Buying SOPs
-
Ensure strict adherence to decision authority rules
-
Prevent unauthorised store or admin actions
-
Act as final quality gate before escalation
2. Data Ownership
-
Full ownership of:
Stock master file
Supplier master file
Pricing integrity
-
Ensure all SKUs are complete, accurate, and correctly classified
-
Prevent duplicate SKUs and supplier inconsistencies
3. Escalation & Risk Management
-
• Review all daily and weekly admin outputs
-
• Ensure all Red / Amber issues are escalated correctly
-
• Escalate unresolved operational risks to Ops Director
-
• Maintain escalation logs and outcomes
4. Team Leadership & Coverage
-
• Allocate daily and weekly admin workloads
-
• Ensure holiday and sickness coverage
-
• Cross-train team members
-
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching
5. Performance Oversight
-
Monitor admin KPIs:
o Data accuracy
o Timeliness
o Escalation discipline
-
Identify system weaknesses and propose improvements
