Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
  • CA (Partly Qualified) / CMA / ACCA – preferred.

Experience

    • 8 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Developer, Real Estate

Additional Requirements

  • Age 32 to 38 years
  • Strong knowledge of real estate project accounting and cost control.

  • Sound understanding of VAT, Tax and regulatory compliance in Bangladesh.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally / ERP / SAP / similar) and MS Excel.

  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.


Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Rupayan Land Development Ltd. is a sister concern of RUPAYAN GROUP, which is a leading Real Estate Company in Bangladesh. Right now we are looking for Deputy Manager/Manager under the Finance & Accounts department, who will share our pride and support our continuous business growth by showcasing his talent, skill, experience, expertise, dedication, integrity, accountability & transparency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day finance and accounts operations of real estate projects and corporate office.

  • Maintain proper books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports and management reports.

  • Handle project-wise accounting including land cost, construction cost, overhead allocation and revenue recognition.

  • Monitor cash flow, fund planning and working capital requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Ensure timely bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and control of receivables and payables.

  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions including vendor payments and customer collections.

  • Coordinate with banks, financial institutions and leasing companies for loans, LC, BG and other facilities.

  • Manage statutory compliances including VAT, Tax, AIT, VAT return submission and coordination with tax consultants.

  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts and variance analysis for projects and head office.

  • Support external and internal audits; ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

  • Review contractor bills, land payments and project-related expenditures for accuracy and approval.

  • Ensure proper documentation, filing and internal control systems to prevent financial risk and leakage.

  • Assist management in financial planning, feasibility analysis and investment decisions for new projects.

  • Supervise and guide junior finance and accounts staff; ensure team efficiency and compliance.
