Responsibilities & Context
Bridge Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is a rapidly growing company in Bangladesh’s Animal Health sector, committed to delivering quality products and services. The Accounts Department ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements to support innovation, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Job requirements & responsibilities:

Oversee accounting and financial operations of the pharmaceutical business in compliance with statutory, tax, and industry regulations.

Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and fixed assets.

Ensure accurate product costing covering raw materials, packaging, overheads, and batch-wise analysis.

Control inventory valuation, stock movement, expiry management, and physical reconciliation.

Handle accounting and settlement of LATR/LC, import purchases, customs duties, and bank charges.

Prepare and review periodic financial statements in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for production, sales, and operating expenses.

Ensure accurate recording of vouchers, bank transactions, journal entries, and sales collections.

Manage bank reconciliation, cash flow planning, fund flow, and working capital.

Ensure compliance with VAT, TDS/VDS, and other taxes, including returns, Mushak forms, and NBR requirements.

Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, suppliers, and internal teams on financial matters.

Monitor receivables, maintain credit control, and support timely collections.

Provide MIS reports and financial analysis to support management decisions.

Lead and supervise accounting staff, ensuring strong internal controls.

Perform additional tasks as required to support organizational objectives.
