Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
- BSc in CSE from any UGC approved university or institute.
Experience

Additional Requirements
KNOWLEDGE
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking, internet connectivity, and bandwidth management.
• Awareness of Wi-Fi security protocols, user authentication, and organizational IT compliance policies.
• Familiarity with configuring and maintaining network devices (Routers, Switches, Access Points such as UniFi, MikroTik).
SKILLS
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, service providers, and internal staff
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues quickly and effectively
• Time management and multitasking skills to balance multiple urgent requests.
COMPETENCIES:
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to provide practical solutions under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context
BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.
This position is responsible for providing IT support to HCMP staff at the field office and camps under the supervision of the HCMP IT Manager.
- Ensure smooth operation of network connectivity (LAN/WAN) across office and field locations.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot internet services and monitor bandwidth performance.
- Configure, manage, and maintain network devices such as Routers, Switches, and Access Points (UniFi, MikroTik).
- Manage Wi-Fi security, user access policies, and authentication.
- Plan, install, and test new network infrastructure at camp and office locations.
- Provide urgent on-site camp, office/ remote support when required
- Troubleshoot and provide support for PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, photocopiers and fingerprint attendance devices.
- Provide technical support for conference rooms (projector, audio/video setup, meetings)
- Coordinate with external service vendors (ISP / hardware support), ensure timely follow-up, vendor evaluation, and equipment specification for IT asset procurement.
- Create, manage new user accounts, email setup, access permissions, maintain IT asset inventory, documentation, and update records regularly.
Safeguarding
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
