Responsibilities & Context

  • Process Assistance: Actively assist senior production staff and supervisors in executing daily wash programs, ensuring all steps (e.g., desizing, bleaching, dyeing, softening, curing) are performed as per the technical sheet.

  • Machine Operation Monitoring: Learn and monitor the basic operation of washing, drying, hydro-extractor, and special finishing machines (e.g., laser, ozone).

  • Chemical Preparation: Assist in the accurate measurement and preparation of chemical solutions, dyes, and finishing agents required for different wash recipes, strictly adhering to safety protocols.

  • Trial & Sample Coordination: Support the execution of new wash trials and sample developments, coordinating the movement of samples and raw materials to ensure timely submission.

  • In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular visual checks of garments during various stages of washing and finishing to identify and report quality issues, such as uneven shade, staining, or damage.

  • Daily Target Tracking: Monitor and report the daily production output against planned targets to the senior management.

  • WIP Management: Track the movement of garments (Work-In-Progress) through the wash cycle to ensure a smooth flow and prevent bottlenecks.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of batch records, chemical consumption, machine downtime, and quality inspection reports.

  • Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with the store department to ensure the timely availability of chemicals, finishing agents, and accessories required for the shift’s production plan
