Requirements

Education:

Master’s or bachelor’s in any discipline.

Experience:

The applicant must have minimum 15 years of experience with a strong track record in senior leadership roles and partnership/channel building relationship with Banks, Fintechs, Telcoms, MFIs, or large institutions.

Manage large field/branch-based teams as a part of Nationwide sales team leadership.

Understanding in compliance to regulate financial services.

Strong relationship in B2B client portfolios and different sales channels.

Understand life insurance integration but from the bank perspective.

Additional Requirements:

Age 43 to 55 years

Responsibilities & Context

Purpose

This role will be responsible for planning, directing, and controlling core Sales & Operational activities for Bancassurance department, both independently and through the overall team. The position will work under the guidance and leadership of the Chief Enterprise Business Officer (CEBO) to acquire and grow business, achieve yearly business targets, and fulfill both individual objectives and the broader goals of the distribution channel.

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy:

·       Strengthening business value proposition and strengthen partner relationship and customer loyalty.

·       Expand market through introducing various channels, products and sales campaigns.

·       Leverage strong alliances and business partners network to crystalize differentiated brand-propositions across customer segments.

·       Conduct regular products and provider reviews and competitor analysis on price and proposition.

·       Focus on building strong insurance expertise and strengths.

Business Development:

·       Aligning with business plan, develop and implement a countrywide product strategy for profitable growth covering all products and services.

·       Entails the integration of products and services across all product lines, segments and platforms in country.

·       Support and Drive Business Performance, from channel/distribution sales performance, to cost management, customer base growth and market share

·       Ensure product delivery and execution of the product route to market across all channels, in line with the overall business plan and revenue targets.

Operational:

·       Procure and maintain Bancassurance business by effectively utilizing both internal and external resources of the company.

·       Engage with existing and prospective bank partners regularly to strengthen relationships, ensure retention, and explore future business growth opportunities.

·       Ensure end-to-end, timely service delivery to all clients while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with potential and existing customers.

·       Review, develop, and customize Bancassurance products and services to meet evolving market and client needs.

·       Motivate, guide, and inspire team members to enhance overall brand loyalty and contribute to company’s business growth.

Process Development:

·       Design business roadmap of potential business opportunities, including internal and external development programs.

·       Guide development of execution plans and performance targets.

People’s Development:

·       Enhance productivity and effectiveness of operations by setting development strategies for the business leaders and encouraging them to meet their set targets.

·       Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to service delivery.

Risk Management:

·       Provide strategic leadership direction in the establishment of a robust and effective channel partner model and business operations in alignment to compliance with local laws and regulations.

·       Ensure adherence to all business operations as stipulated in the Insurance Act and guidelines of IDRA and Bangladesh Bank.
