Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • Certification in Digital Marketing or E-Commerce is a plus.

Experience

    • 8 to 12 years
 

Additional Requirements

Job Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and web analytics tools.

  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing strategies.

  • Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and CMS.

  • Advanced skills in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data interpretation.

  • Competency in managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

 

Soft Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

  • Excellent leadership and project management abilities.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

 

Abilities:

  • Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum (Years): 8-12 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy to drive online sales growth and achieve revenue targets.

  • Manage the end-to-end customer journey on the e-commerce platform, ensuring a user-friendly and frictionless experience.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website and mobile app, including product listings, content management, and functionality.

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to attract and convert customers.

  • Utilize web analytics tools to monitor performance, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and customer retention.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and IT, to ensure alignment and seamless operation of the e-commerce ecosystem.

  • Manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum return on investment.

  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.
