Job Description

Education

  • Masters
  • Masters/ MBA degree preferably in Finance/ Accounting from a reputed university with no third class/division or equivalent CGPA in the academic record.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA/ ACMA/ CIA/ CA (Partly Qualified) will be an added advantage.

Experience

    • At least 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 55 years
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role at Finance & Accounts Division.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having in-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Bank reporting requirements (CAMELS, RWA, CRR/SLR) and IFRS/IAS, and relevant financial regulations.

  • Age not exceeding 55 years as of September 30, 2025. The age limit may be relaxed based on relevant experience.


Responsibilities & Context

As part of its commitment to corporate goals, financial inclusion, and good governance, the Bank is looking to hire dynamic and committed professional as Head of FAD.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist CFO in developing the bank’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of all financial statements in accordance.

  • Ensure statutory and regulatory reporting are accurate and submitted on time.

  • Lead or support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.

  • Review costs and expenses across departments/branches; propose cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including reconciliations, tax compliance, and expense control.

  • Liaise with internal/external auditors and prepare audit documentation.

  • Support treasury operations, ALM reporting, and fixed asset management.

  • Undertake special assignments as directed by CFO or management.
