Job Description
Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
- Bangladesh University of Textiles students will get preference
- Textile Engineering/Applied Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field.
Experience

- 5 to 7 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile
Responsibilities & Context

Supervise and manage lab operations to ensure all incoming raw materials and garments are tested accurately and on time.

Coordinate with UK & HK teams, suppliers, and internal departments for testing requirements, approvals, and audits.

Monitor calibration, maintenance, and compliance of all lab equipment; ensure international accreditation standards are maintained.

Review and approve test reports, escalate failures, and support root cause analysis with QA/Technical teams.

Train, guide, and monitor lab executives and junior staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.

Maintain testing databases, analyze trends, and prepare reports for management decision-making.

Support Head of Department in audits, process improvements, and customer communication
Skills & Expertise

Lead and manage the complete laboratory operations in a world-class garment factory.

Ensure fabric & garment testing meets international standards (ISO, AATCC, ASTM, Buyer Protocols).
