Responsibilities & Context

A leading international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country is entering Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience the project is currently in its pre-opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent Outlet Operation Manager/ Outlet Operation Leader to oversee and coordinate all functions in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders.

Job Purpose:

To ensure that store management is effective and efficient in accordance with applicable procedures in order to achieve increased sales, customer satisfaction, and the achievement of store targets set by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the process of receiving goods & administration process runs properly.

  • Manage the merchandise and display standards.

  • Oversee the store`s loading and unloading of goods into delivery vehicles.

  • Supervise the stocktaking carried out according to procedures.

  • Assure a neat working environment including an organized shop & warehouse.

  • Verify the money deposited from the sale of merchandise to the branch finance via the bullet box on the DC delivery vehicle is aligned with the protocol.

  • Manage the lost and damaged goods.

  • Inform customers about ongoing promotional programs & events.

  • Monitor & supervise services to improve the customer’s buying experience.

  • Check the effectiveness of PB (Personal Best/top performance) according to the store needs and monitoring of store PKM (Personal Knowledge Management).

  • Estimate the plan of the store cash budget & report the allocation to the superiors.

  • Ensure that payment transactions for goods and services are fast and accurate, and always be friendly to customers

  • Ensure that the store & cashier administration follows company protocols

  • Make sure that the team maintains the confidentiality of company information in compliance with the Information Security Management System policy.
