Responsibilities & Context

ACI Motors is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Officer for its Renewable Energy Division (Hybrid Solar Inverter Business). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic sales capability.

Key Responsibilities include –

1. Sales Execution

  • Support achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Visit dealers, retailers, and project customers to promote renewable energy products.

  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and customer queries to close sales.

2. Dealer Support & Relationship Management

  • Assist existing dealers with product knowledge, display setup, and pricing communication.

  • Monitor dealer stock and support with restocking needs.

  • Help resolve basic dealer/customer complaints and escalate major issues to TM.

3. Market Development

  • Identify new sales points and potential micro-dealers in uncovered areas.

  • Conduct field visits to promote awareness and generate inquiries.

  • Gather competitor intelligence (pricing, promotional activities, dealer movements).

4. Promotional Activities

  • Participate in local activations, product demos, and mini exhibitions.

  • Distribute promotional materials, banners, and signage in target locations.

5. Operational Support & Reporting

  • Maintain daily visit log and customer interaction reports.

  • Collect market feedback and customer data (name, phone, interest level).

  • Ensure on-time reporting to the Territory Manager or Area Manager.
