Education
- Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline from any UGC approved university or institute
Experience

Additional Requirements
Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of humanitarian protection standards, safeguarding, child protection, gender-based violence, and rights-based approaches.
• Knowledge of sector-specific tools, methodologies, and best practices for protection programming.
Skills:
• Good Communication skill, Report writing and strong interpersonal skills
• Capacity to guide and support staff in addressing operational and technical challenges
• Analytical skills to identify issues and propose practical solutions
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Competencies:
• Ability to uphold and implement organizational policies and procedures
• Ability to inspire, delegate, and build capacity among staff
• Proficiency in local language is essential
• Confidence in making timely, evidence-based decisions under pressure
Responsibilities & Context
BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.
Deputy Project Manager will be responsible for project design, implementation, and monitoring, as well as providing technical guidance to the project staff to address challenges and ensure successful project cycle management.

Guide and lead the community group and community outreach initiatives as well as community centre activities.

Ensure that the Community Based protection deliverables and activities are of high quality; adhere to core humanitarian standards, and accountability to affected population

Oversee strategic review of the program performance and compliance to ensure integrity and sustainability.

Develop, update, and ensure effective implementation of internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for protection programming, in collaboration with the partner and the other stakeholder.

Support the development of innovative CLI ideas and strategies that address the evolving needs of the Rohingya community and host community, particularly integration of protection sectors.

Responsible for all administrative support of CBP such as submitting project compilation report, Need assessment, Follow-up regular submission of monthly report to CIC etc.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing donor partners, ensuring transparent communication and regular updates on program progress.

Document and communicate program successes and challenges to donors and stakeholders, highlighting the program’s impact.

Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all project-related materials, reports, and communication for audit and reporting purposes.

Identify potential risks or challenges to project delivery, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.

Ensure that key milestones, targets and deliverables are met on time and within scope, addressing any challenges or delays in coordination with relevant teams.

Ensure technical quality and standards are maintained throughout all aspects of project implementation.

Ensure all expenditures are in line with the approved budget and financial guidelines, flagging potential issues and implementing corrective measures if needed.

Work closely with the finance team to reforecast and adjust the budget if necessary, ensuring alignment with project activities and donor requirements.
Safeguarding

Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
