As the public healthcare system strengthens, BRAC role has strategically evolved to be a technical assistance partner, supporting the Government of Bangladesh’s mission to achieve Universal Health Coverage, ensuring everyone receives the care they need.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect and monitor program data in line with SOPs and programmatic requirements.

  • Monitor the Area Manager’s activities and the status of office management in various aspects, including inventories, accounts, audit reports and record-keeping.

  • Monitor CHW/SK/PO) performance against work plans and SOPs; assess programme participants’ satisfaction and data-related technical accuracy.

  • Submit monthly action plans and execute field visits accordingly.

  • Conduct monitoring and DQA (Data Quality Assessment) visits via digital tools to assess BHP’s community and facility activities.

  • Support tool and guideline development, and compile field-based QA reports & provide feedback.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
