Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience

    • At least 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge in woven garment.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capability.
  • Advanced knowledge of merchandising operations, costing, TNA, and production follow-up.
  • Ability to handle multiple buyers and large-volume orders.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities & Context

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and annual sales targets.

  • Identify new buyers, explore new markets, and build long-term business partnerships.

  • Analyze market trends, buyer requirements, and competitor activities to support decision-making.

Buyer Management

  • Maintain strong communication with international buyers, buying houses, and key accounts.

  • Handle price negotiation, costing, TNA, and order confirmation with buyers.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely updates and professional service.

Merchandising & Order Management

  • Oversee the entire merchandising process from development to shipment.

  • Ensure accurate costing, consumption, and BOM preparation.

  • Monitor sample development, approvals, production follow-up, and delivery deadlines.

  • Ensure smooth coordination between merchandising, planning, production, commercial, and supply chain teams.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead and mentor the Sales & Merchandising team.

  • Set performance goals, review team outputs, and ensure professional development.

  • Ensure team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, and reporting guidelines.

Production & Quality Coordination

  • Work closely with production units to ensure capacity planning and on-time production.

  • Ensure product quality meets buyer standards and resolve any issues proactively.

Commercial & Operations Support

  • Monitor order profitability, costing accuracy, and price validation.

  • Ensure proper documentation for export, commercial & shipment processes.

Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly business reports for management review.

  • Analyze business performance and suggest improvement plans.
