Role names summarize access; the actual granted permissions and selected business remain decisive.
- Ask the owner which business and responsibilities you are joining.
- Open Workspace and review the tools your account can access.
- Owners retain business responsibility; employer admins can manage only the operations their permissions allow.
- Recruiters and hiring managers should use the permitted jobs, applicant and candidate tools for their assigned scope.
- Interviewers should open assigned interviews and feedback tools; they may not have full application-management access.
- Request a permission change from an authorized manager when a required task is unavailable.
A role is not permission to browse unrelated candidates or another business’s records. Billing, assessment authoring, team management and CV Bank can have separate gates. Use individual accounts rather than sharing the owner’s login.
