  • Implementation of WASH project in low-income settlement, Motorcycle riding is mandatory .

Responsibilities & Context

Lead a team and ensure achievements of the planned activities of WASH4UrbanPoor Project effectively and efficiently coordinating with development partners and other stakeholders.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual work plan, budget as & when needed·
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual progress reports.
  • Learning and good practices documents and disseminate to donor and head office·
  • Support in procurement process for the project related procurement·
  • Arrange donor visit/maintain coordination with donor by shoeing impact and meet their expectation, even go beyond that·
  • Ensure that logistics and administrative arrangements are made timely with the concerned departments·
  • Facilitate and organize different WASH meeting, training, workshop in collaboration with relevant stakeholders·
  • Follow up and monitor the progress of works and provide necessary guidance to ensure quality·
  • Arrange personal travel to attend forums, meetings and to field locations as necessary·
  • Assist humanitarian emergency disaster management (if happen during project)·
  • Ensure the monthly reporting requirement to head office·      Identifying and addressing staff capacity building opportunities·
  • Work with a team and build their capacity through coaching, mentoring and regular meetings in line of quality assurance·
  • Assess the performance of the staff and take appropriate measures accordingly·
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant agencies, local government institutions and other relevant stakeholders and influence them for pro-poor services and efficient systems·
  • Any other jobs assigned for the benefit of the project.
  • Ready to chase extensive field visit in low-income settlement of Dhaka city.
