Responsibilities & Context
Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Prepare, test, and maintain lab equipment like transformers and relays to ensure proper functioning.
Assisting in Practical Sessions: Support students and faculty during experiments by demonstrating procedures and ensuring correct usage of instruments.
Data Collection and Documentation: Assist in recording lab manual (OBE-based) experiment results accurately and help in preparing related reports or logs.
Inventory Management and Budget: Keep track of lab tools, materials, and ensure availability of necessary components and budget prepara-tion for smooth lab activities.
Lab Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure the lab is clean, organized, and all safety protocols are strictly followed during sessions.
Prepare lab equipment and components before each lab session. Regularly inspect and maintain lab instruments and power electronic kits.
Help students set up experiments. Ensure safety protocols are followed during labs. Troubleshoot circuits and assist with debugging.
Maintain stock of components, tools, and consumables. Initiate pro-curement requests for lab supplies.
Keep records of lab usage, damaged equipment, and experimental results (if needed). Assist in preparing lab manuals (OBE-based) and guides.
Assist faculty and students in ongoing projects or research experi-ments. Provide technical help for final year and graduate thesis projects.
Conduct or assist with technical workshops or training sessions on power electronics tools and hardware.
