Job Description

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resource Management

Experience

    • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG), Textile

Responsibilities & Context

  • The candidate must have strong knowledge and expertise in Bangladesh Labor Law, 2006 (and Amendments) and Bangladesh Labor Rules, 2015.
  • Prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP) against audit findings and ensure proper implementation within the required timeline.
  • Prepare and implement CAPs according to buyers’ requirements and follow up on all corrective actions effectively.
  • Must have strong experience in handling both announced and unannounced certification and buyer audits.
  • Should have practical experience in facing audits and compliance assessments including: RSC, Nirapon, Better Work, Higg Index, amfori BSCI, WRAP, OEKO-TEX, SEDEX, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, European Flax, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GSB, SCAN, and other renowned international buyers.
  • Develop, revise, and implement factory SOPs, policies, and employee handbooks in alignment with buyers’ CoC and legal frameworks.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Production, Maintenance, Stores) to ensure continuous compliance with buyers’ requirements, legal standards, and factory regulations.
  • Oversee the factory’s internal grievance mechanism, workers’ welfare, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Facilitate Safety Committee operations, fire drills, and workplace risk assessments.
  • Maintain all compliance-related documents, records, policies, and reports properly and accurately for instant audit readiness.
  • Conduct regular factory walkthroughs, internal audits, and arrange awareness/training programs for workers and staff.
  • Lead and guide the factory compliance team and prepare regular performance reports for the management.
