Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • Master’s degree in SCM/ EEE/Biomedical / ICT or any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management (SCM) will be highly preferred.
  • Professional certification or postgraduate qualification such as PGDSCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management) will be considered an added advantage.

Experience

    • 5 to 10 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Healthcare Startup, Hospital

Additional Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of medical equipment, medical consumables, CAPEX procurement, import procedures, and contract management.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems, reporting, inventory coordination, and audit compliance.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.

  • Proven experience in order management, customer service, and multi-department coordination.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage critical operational timelines effectively.


Responsibilities & Context

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations for hospital and healthcare-related goods and services.
  • Handle procurement of CAPEX equipment, medical consumables, laboratory items, electrical and engineering materials, and general hospital supplies.
  • Manage the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and procurement process in compliance with organizational policies and donor/audit requirements.
  • Prepare and process LOIs, purchase orders, contracts, comparative statements, and procurement documentation.
  • Coordinate import and customs clearance activities for medical and non-medical items, ensuring timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee contract management, Service Level Agreements (SLA), FWA, vendor performance monitoring, and supplier relationship management.
  • Ensure accurate order management, order tracking, delivery follow-up, and coordination with end users for uninterrupted hospital operations.
  • Maintain strong customer service and stakeholder communication with internal departments, vendors, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, procurement policies, and inventory control procedures.
  • Generate procurement, supply chain, and management reports using SAP/ERP systems and other reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with biomedical, engineering, pharmacy, and clinical teams for technical evaluation and procurement planning.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely supply availability.
  • Support emergency procurement requirements and critical hospital operational needs when necessary.
  • Maintain proper documentation, record keeping, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards and to ensure operational efficiency and service continuity.
