Job Description

Education

  • Graduation in any discipline from a reputed university preferably in Statistics, MIS and Economics.

Experience

    • At least 1 year

  • Should have proficiency in English to prepare reports and other technical formats.
  • Facilitation, and mobilization skills to communicate with project participants both at camps and host communities.

Responsibilities & Context

Contract Duration: Till 31st July 2026 with potential of extension till 30th December 2026.

Job Summary

  • PROTTYASHI, a social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment with an aim to ensure everyone to live with dignity and prosperity. PROTTYASHI reaches the community with basic needs and supports to save lives and facilitate all the people of the community to live with equal value and priority. PROTTYASHI is going to implement phase 3 of “Unity in Action: Cultivating Sustainable Livelihoods, Community Leadership and Social Harmony in addressing Climate Challenges in Host and Rohingya Communities” project in Rohingya camps and surrounding host communities in partnership with Oxfam in Bangladesh (OiBD) to ensure a holistic development and empowerment within these communities promoting sustainable livelihood, protection and gender equality within the targeted communities. PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Monitoring & Documentation Officer for the Project and encourages the persons enthusiastic to contribute to the humanitarian crisis affected people in Cox’s Bazar. 

Reporting

  • Monitoring & Documentation Officer will report to Senior Program Officer (MEAL) of PROTTYASHI. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish M&E system for Unity in Action Phase III project in line with PROTTYASHI’s policies and compliances.

  • Authorize verification via the participant-identification process to ensure valid and accurate enrolment of the project participants.

  • Prepare and develop all types of data collection tools in Kobo format (questionnaires, checklists, templates) and the final list of all participants will be determined through vulnerability scoring and checking.

  • Ensure routine monitoring on real-time basis and authorize routine data.

  • Ensure quality monitoring data as per M&E Plan, data flow map, and data quality standards.

  • Produce regular process monitoring as well as periodic performance monitoring report.

  • Ensure trend analysis of the project progress based on monitoring data to support program team in reporting and evidence-based decision making.

  • Assist and provide support to the Project Coordinator with review and development of project reports.

  • Undertake regular field visits to conduct process monitoring and provide supportive feedback to improve implementation and program quality.

  • Provide necessary support in conducting baseline, mid-term, final evaluation, assessments, studies, research & periodic data quality assessment.

  • Ensure participants accountability and feedback-response mechanisms are established, feedback is analysed and responded accordingly as per feedback & response framework.

  • Manage Unity in Action MIS system and ensure data are entered into the system in a timely manner as per M&E Plan and Data Flow Diagram.

  • Analyze project data and share progress status with the project team and recommend actionable recommendations.

  • Identify and document case stories, lessons learned, good practices and project results with the support of PROTTYASHI MEAL team.

  • Conduct training and provide continuous support to project as well as frontline staffs on capacity development on M&E, MIS and quality data collection.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as delegated/assigned by the PROTTYASHI Program Management.

  • Prepared and submit Weekly progress reports, 5W report and all event report.

  • Develop all participant list, program attendance and muster roll as per donor requirement.

  • For monitoring purposes, all program plans, purchase requisitions (PRs), and documentation will be prepared and submitted in a timely manner in accordance with project guidelines

Compensation & Other Benefits

  • Monthly Gross Salary will be 56,000 BDT & regular traveling and communication bill.
