Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • PGD in HRM / Social Science / Management will be preferred

Experience

    • 3 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile

Responsibilities & Context

Worker Welfare & Relations

  • Act as a liaison between workers and management to maintain good relationships

  • Identify and address worker grievances (individual & collective)

  • Counsel workers on company policies, discipline, and workplace behavior

  • Ensure fair treatment and proper communication across all levels

Compliance & Labor Law

  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law and buyer Code of Conduct

  • Monitor factory welfare facilities (canteen, childcare, washrooms, drinking water, etc.)

  • Support social compliance audits and maintain required documentation

Health, Safety & Awareness

  • Conduct awareness sessions on health, hygiene, safety, and workers’ rights

  • Promote safe working practices across the factory

  • Perform regular floor visits to identify welfare or safety issues

Grievance Handling & Counseling

  • Handle worker complaints and ensure timely resolution

  • Provide counseling and motivation to workers for better performance

  • Assist in disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution

Training & Development

  • Organize welfare-related training and awareness programs

  • Maintain training records, attendance, and reports

  • Support orientation programs for new employees

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare welfare and compliance reports

  • Maintain registers related to welfare activities, leave, and worker issues

  • Coordinate with HR, Compliance, and Production teams
