Job Description
Education
- Minimum of a Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Food Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience

Responsibilities & Context
-
Monitor and control the quality of incoming paddy, in-process rice, and finished products.

Implement and supervise sampling and testing protocols for moisture content, foreign matter, broken grains, etc.

Ensure compliance with national and international food safety standards.
-
Oversee lab testing procedures such as chemical, physical, and microbiological tests.
-
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
-
Conduct routine inspections and audits of the production line to ensure quality adherence.
-
Maintain and update QC documentation, test records, and reports.
-
Handle documentation for certifications such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.
-
Evaluate and approve raw material (paddy) suppliers based on quality parameters.
-
Coordinate with procurement for quality assurance of incoming materials.
-
Analyze root causes and suggest process improvements, and also address customer complaints related to quality and lead resolution efforts.
-
Liaise with external auditors, inspectors, and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
-
Prepare quality performance reports and present them to senior management.
