Responsibilities & Context
- Strategic Distribution Planning: Develop and implement robust distribution strategies to ensure the timely delivery of products across all sales channels.
- Warehouse Coordination: Supervise daily operations at primary distribution points to maintain stock accuracy and optimize storage space.
- Fleet & Vendor Management: Lead negotiations with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and manage the company’s internal fleet for primary and secondary distribution.
- Lead Time Optimization: Monitor and reduce delivery lead times from the central warehouse to RIL distribution points and showrooms.
- Cost Control: Manage the distribution budget, focusing on reducing logistics costs per unit while maintaining service quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all distribution activities comply with transport regulations and internal safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of distribution supervisors and coordinators to achieve monthly KPIs.
