Job Description

Education

  • The candidate should have Bachelor in Agriculture/ Agronomy from any government approved institute with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations

Additional Requirements

  • Education will be relaxed for the experienced Candidates

  • Experience in relevant field will be given preference

  • Have practical knowledge on monitoring, investigation and report writing

  • Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds

  • Must have skill of multitasking

  • Able to work under stress situation

  • Able to manage any unwanted situation


Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare yearly monitoring plan for the department of seed and agro’s production, processing, marketing, sales, quality control and research

  • Ensure the monitoring of dealer and sub dealer’s order passbook (distribution, collection, return) and check the movement of sales team’s all activities

  • To monitor the demonstration plot; selection land, inputs distribution, supervision of officer sales and zonal manager sales, and to monitor field days, crop cutting, fair, dealer meetings, sub-dealer meetings, etc.

  • Confirm the survey on different issues through the meeting with farmers when needed 

  • Ensure the monitoring of seed processing activities; temperature and humidity of storage, bin card and quality, packaging and weighing, inventory, fire protection, processing register and documents, distribution system, quality control, etc. 

  • Prepare report based on the proper and on-time investigation of the irregularities and complaints

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and yearly monitoring findings reports

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

  • Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
