Responsibilities & Context
ROLE PURPOSE
To support buying decisions by providing accurate, data-driven sales analysis, order proposals, and range performance insights to improve availability and reduce stock waste.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales & Demand Analysis
-
Analyse EPOS sales by SKU and quantity
-
Identify:
o Fast movers
o Slow movers
o Zero-sale SKUs
-
Track trends and anomalies
2. Order Proposal Preparation
-
Prepare supplier-level order proposals based on:
o Sales velocity
o Lead times
o Promo impact
-
Present proposals clearly with rationale
-
Submit proposals to Buyer & Ops for review
3. Range Performance Support
-
Support range reviews
-
Identify poor-performing SKUs
-
Recommend:
o Repricing
o Promotion
o Delisting
4. Availability & Risk Monitoring
-
Monitor out-of-stock risks
-
Flag availability gaps early
-
Support corrective actions
