Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a receptionist or front desk officer (hospital/clinic experience preferred).

  • Fresh candidates with good communication skills may also apply.

  • Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Polite behavior and strong interpersonal communication skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, email).

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

  • Presentable appearance and professional attitude.

  • Fluency in Bangla; Basic English communication preferred.

About Us:

Youth for Bangladesh is a social voluntary organization of young people. It is primarily a non-profit, social development organization. Since 2009, Youth for Bangladesh has been working to meet the basic needs of the homeless, helpless, street children, and underprivileged people, as well as to eradicate hunger and poverty. At present, several of our social initiatives are ongoing, among which the notable ones are Valo Kajer Hotel, Daily Ten School, Apon Ghor Old Age Home, Apon Ghor Cancer Shelter Home, Eye Hospital and the Self-Reliance Project, and so on. Youth for Bangladesh is dedicated to providing healthcare services to the community. We are currently looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Receptionist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receive and greet patients, attendants, and visitors courteously.

  • Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and follow-up records.

  • Answer phone calls, provide necessary information, and redirect calls appropriately.

  • Maintain patient files, registers, and basic documentation accurately.

  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for smooth patient services.

  • Handle front desk cash receipts (if assigned) and maintain proper records.

  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

  • Assist patients with general queries related to hospital services.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by hospital management.
