Experience Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Chef/Cook preferred (snacks, fast food, or home-style cooking).
  • Experience in preparing common Bangladeshi snacks is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic cooking expertise (puri, singara, samosa, noodles, pasta, soup, sandwich, vegetable roll, Sharma etc.).
  • Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Polite behavior and ability to cooperate with staff.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

Mojaru Education Technologies Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and skilled Chef to prepare daily evening snacks for office staff. The ideal candidate should have basic cooking skills, knowledge of hygienic food preparation, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role ensures timely, tasty, and healthy snack preparation for employees.

 

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

  • Prepare and serve daily evening snacks for office staff.
  • Maintain consistency in taste and quality.
  • Ensure timely preparation according to staff schedule.

Kitchen Management

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area.
  • Manage daily food ingredients and supplies.
  • Store food properly to maintain freshness.

Quality & Hygiene

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure utensils, cooking area, and storage areas are sanitized.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Track daily consumption of ingredients.
  • Minimize food waste and unnecessary costs.
  • Report required items for purchase to Admin/HR.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in occasional office events requiring light food/snacks.
  • Follow company policies and maintain professional behavior.
