Additional Requirements

Prior experience as a Barista or in a customer service role will be preferred

Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required
Responsibilities & Context
-
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including various types of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.

Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
-
Ensure consistency in beverage preparation, presentation, and quality according to café standards.
-
Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
-
Take customer orders, process payments, and handle POS transactions accurately.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and service area.
-
Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the supervisor.
-
Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
-
Comply with all health and safety guidelines and hygiene standards.

Work as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations and customer satisfaction.

Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation

Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
