SEO Knowledge (Fundamental Level)

  • Clear understanding of what SEO is and why it is important
  • Basic knowledge of On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO
  • Understanding of keyword research and search intent
  • Familiarity with on-page elements like title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure

Technical & Tool Awareness

  • Basic familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar)
  • Willingness to learn CMS platforms such as WordPress

Soft Skills

  • Strong interest in digital marketing and SEO
  • Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

Eligibility

Responsibilities & Context

Ray Advertising is searching for a driven and articulate SEO Intern – (Night Shift) to join our team in a REMOTE/ WORK FROM HOME and ON-SITE opportunity.

The position involves night shift work from Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (Bangladesh Time).

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated SEO Intern with basic to fundamental knowledge of SEO concepts who is eager to learn and grow in a real-world, performance-driven environment.

This role is ideal for candidates who understand what SEO is, why it matters, and have foundational knowledge of keywords, on-page SEO, and technical basics, but want hands-on exposure under experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Fundamentals & Support

  • Assist in implementing on-page SEO for blogs and website pages
  • Support keyword research activities and content optimization tasks
  • Help optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links
  • Assist in basic technical SEO checks such as crawl errors, indexing issues, and site speed observations

Learning & Execution

  • Learn and apply On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO concepts
  • Support backlink and off-page SEO activities under supervision
  • Monitor keyword rankings and basic SEO performance metrics
  • Assist senior SEO team members with audits, reports, and optimization tasks

Tools & Reporting

  • Work with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar
  • Track assigned tasks and report progress regularly
  • Learn how SEO performance impacts traffic, rankings, and business outcomes
 

Compensation & Other Benefits

Compensation & Growth Opportunities

  • Unpaid Training (1st Month – Probation Period): The first month will serve as unpaid training.

  • Stipend (2nd-6th Month): 5,000 BDT/month.

  • Performance Review: At the end of the internship, high-performing interns may be offered a permanent position with a salary between 15,000 – 20,000 BDT/month.

  • Yearly holidays based on both Bangladesh and U.S. calendars.

  • Flexible casual, sick & special leave policy

  • Monthly leadership training directly from the CEO.
