Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Textile Engineering

Additional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in knit garment sampling, with at least 8 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, garment construction, and fit standards.

Proven ability to manage multiple styles and tight deadlines.

Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Office and sampling documentation systems.
Responsibilities & Context
- Lead and manage the end-to-end knit garment sampling process .
- Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Design, Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, and Quality teams to ensure sample accuracy.
- Ensure samples meet buyer specifications, measurements, construction, and quality standards.
- Develop and monitor sampling timelines to meet buyer deadlines without delay.
- Identify and resolve sampling issues related to fabric, trims, fit, or workmanship.
- Maintain proper documentation of sample developments, revisions, and approvals.
- Guide and train sampling team members to improve efficiency and skill development.
- Ensure cost-effective sampling while maintaining required quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with merchandising teams regarding sample status and approvals.
- Implement continuous improvement in sampling processes and workflow.
