Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for Officers (procurement) for Direct Fresh Limited, a sister company of Agile Minds Solutions Limited.
These individuals will be responsible for supporting and executing the procurement strategy for commodity goods essential to the organization’s operations. This role involves vendor management, market analysis, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of commodities such as raw materials, agricultural products, or industrial inputs.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Planning & Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing commodity procurement strategies aligned with company goals. Monitor commodity market trends, price fluctuations, and availability to optimize purchasing decisions.

Vendor & Supplier Management:Â Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers of commodities. Negotiate terms, prices, delivery, and quality standards with vendors. Conduct supplier audits and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Procurement Operations:Â Process purchase orders and coordinate with internal teams to determine commodity needs. Ensure the timely delivery of materials while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory requirements.

Cost & Risk Management:Â Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Work with finance and legal teams to manage risks related to contracts and market volatility.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, PO records, supplier records, evaluations, etc. Generate reports on commodity prices, procurement KPIs, and supplier performance.
