Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or English (Master’s preferred).

Experience

    • At least 2 years
 

Responsibilities & Context

  • Draft and distribute press releases, feature stories, news articles, and media statements about university activities, achievements, and events.

  • Create engaging content for web, print, and social media platforms in line with DIU’s communication strategy.

  • Collaborate with faculties, departments, and administrative offices to identify and promote success stories and innovative initiatives.

  • Support the organization of press conferences, media visits, and university events.

  • Monitor and document media coverage and prepare periodic reports.

  • Ensure all communications reflect the values, vision, and brand identity of Daffodil International University.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to ensure effective media coverage.

Daffodil International University (DIU) is looking for a proactive Public Relations Officer to join our team. This role plays a key part in enhancing the university`s public image and strengthening its media presence nationally and internationally.
