Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
  • Bachelor & Master Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology.
  • Any Professional certifications will get advantage.

Experience

    • At least 14 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks, Real Estate, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age 38 to 48 years
  • Proven working experience in relevant field.

  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.

  • Expertise in data center management and data governance.

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, Server & desktop hardware/ operating systems, firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, etc.

  • Ability to priorities and allocate resource/effort appropriately.

  • Good understanding of IT security and Data protection.

  • Good understanding of Cloud and mobile technology.

  • Should have strong leadership capability, good communication skills & team building efficiency.


Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a dynamic person who will be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our MIS & IT department within the requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. He will also responsible to supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company`s computing needs. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry`s best practice processes.

  • Consults with management to analyze computer system capability for information, data, and functional operations to determine scope and priorities of projects, and to discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions.

  • Advise management on proper utilization of data processing time and equipment for maximum desired result.

  • Prepares department budget and monitors expenditure of budgeted funds.

  • Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing.

  • Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.

  • Develops, implements, and monitors management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.

  • Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for MIS services and products.

  • Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.

  • Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.

  • Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact, and address problems.

  • Develops, maintains, and tests disaster recovery plans.

  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.

  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
