Responsibilities & Context

This position is responsible for assistance with preparation of monthly payroll with all applicable adjustments and assist with salary disbursement and distribution of pay slips to employees.

 

  • Assist in the process of preparing, processing, and managing around 5,200 employees’ payroll, salary, and benefit calculations in designated payroll software.

  • Periodically assist with reports preparations and send to consolidation department. A) Weekly Overtime Report B) Monthly Sewing Salary Report (Polo, Fleece & UW) C) Monthly Payroll reconciliation D) Employee Change report.

  • Assist with Collection, analysis, updating and reconciling payroll and benefit data on a monthly basis in payroll software with liaison of other departments.

  • Assist with processing payroll data from software such as gross salary, head count, working hour, absent deduction, overtime hours, overtime amount, and deduction with employee id as per information received from time section or HR department.

  • Assist with Preparation of Employee Tax deduction list for submitting withholding tax to respective Deputy Commissioner of Tax.

  • Assist with Preparation of monthly salaries (provisional & actual) Journal entries and booking in the accounting system.

  • Assist with Preparation of monthly provisional benefit entries such as severance, earned leave & Eid bonus and book in the accounting system.

  • Actively assist in forecast process of all payroll information and ensure minimal variance between actual and forecasted data.

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping confidential information.

  • Assist with Preparation of Employee Tax certificate and collection commitment of appropriate investment for income tax credit.

  • Assist with Revision of wage computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.

  • Assist with Revision of incentive Bonus, verification the information and proceed to export to the system.

  • Assist with Revision periodic reports of taxes and deductions.

  • Assist with Verification of data input in payroll system to compute wages and deductions.

  • Adjusts payroll errors and responds to complaints

  • Prepare vacation and festival bonus payment.

  • Prepare the Payroll information to collect signatures authorized to proceed with the transfer of wages to employees.

  • Responsible for sending the report to the bank transfer wages maternity, vacation and festival bonus.

  • Distribution and collection of pay slips to all employees

  • Coordinate the Accordia Global, WRAP, SMETA & BGMEA compliance audit.

  • Perform any other operation-related function indicated by immediate supervisor.
