Responsibilities & Context
Alfamart, a leading international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country, is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited under the name Alfamart Trading Bangladesh. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience, the project is currently in its pre-opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent Retail Store Manager to oversee and coordinate operations in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders.
Job Purpose:
To ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently by following company procedures, maintaining good service, and supporting the team to achieve sales growth, customer satisfaction, and store performance targets. Candidates with 2–3 years of experience in retail or store operations are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth operation of products receiving and store administration.

Maintain store display as per standards.

Supervise loading/unloading, stock checking and organizing.

Manage lost or damaged goods.

Promote ongoing programs and ensure excellent customer service.

Monitor staff performance and store cash budget.

Ensure fast, accurate transactions and maintain company protocols.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
