- Age 20 to 50 years
Responsibilities & Context
- Take advantage of all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays.
- Assist with taking patient inquiries to answer technical questions and offer pre-procedure advice.
- Upholding and ensuring staff/patient compliance with all radiation safety regulations.
- Monitor all radiographic supplies and submit purchasing requests to maintain proper supply levels.
- Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Keeping an accurate record of all images produced and analyzing and reporting x-ray results.
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines & any other tasks assigned by the management.
- Trains and orients new medical technologists in the performance and interpretation of tests.
- Good behavior & manners with patients are mandatory.
- Maintain the cleanliness of radiology & imaging machinery.
