Education

  • Bachelor of Science (Pass) in Textile Engineering
  • Bangladesh University of Textiles students will get preference

Experience

    • 10 to 11 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 40 years

Responsibilities & Context

  • Heading the Development team centrally

  • In charge for seasonal and in season development team, irrespective of customer base

  • Create methodology of development flow customer wise as well as central development base.

  • Ensure Seasonal collection preparation as per trend and buyer’s mood board

  • Optimize development lead time and create traceability and tracking

  • Establish right development team with proper knowledge and mindset

  • Lead development query and sampling for buyers on expected time wise

  • Coordinate with merchandising and marketing team so the right development been made according to production capability

  • Work together with Fabric team for right component development requirements and readiness for quicker support.

  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, merchandising and development team local and design team in Europe

  • Ready seasonal presentation of product for buyer’s and new mission

  • Secure development been initiated and maintained as per sustainability requirements and need by customers.

  • Close monitoring with sample head, sample sections and establish of right coordination with marketing team

  • Regular catch up with Marketing head and monthly update to Chairman/Director

  • People development and responsible on succession plan as required for own team members/leaders
