  • Age At most 35 years
  • Logistics/Maritime Studies/Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • 1–2 years’ experience in customer service, shipping, terminal operations, or logistics; internships considered.

  • Service-oriented, organized, and adept at navigating complex terminal logistics with professionalism.

  • Strong communication in Bengali and English (oral and written).

  • Coordination skills are essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours.

  • Proactive team player with attention to detail.

  • Requires physical mobility within terminal premises and ability to stay active during long hours.

  • Strict adherence to port safety, security, and access protocols.


Responsibilities & Context

  • Assist C&F agents, consignees, and customs officials on-site including walk-in queries. Provide guidance on container availability, delivery processes, documentation, and customs compliance.
  • Track daily FCL delivery status by category and coordinate with LCL supervisors.
  • Facilitate multi-consignee cargo deliveries and unpacking operations.
  • Verify container placement status daily.
  • Report pending vs. placed containers and update Yard Operations Assistants and Supervisors.
  • Monitor daily truck bookings by stakeholders.
  • Reconcile bookings with container delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with Terminal Operations Division (TOD) for labor and container movement support.
  • Coordinate with HSSE officers for safety compliance and incident response.
  • Assist C&F agents and coordinate with the One-Stop Finance and Billing Department for any additional billing requirements payable by Bikash.
  • Share shift-wise updates and communicate issues proactively with relevant departments.
  • Regulate C&F staff movement within the terminal.
  • Facilitate interaction between C&F agents and internal departments.
  • Assist visitors, ensuring queries/escalations are addressed or redirected.
  • Liaise with CPA One Stop Service for assignment release status updates.
  • Guide C&F agents on customs clearance and ASYCUDA procedures.
  • Prepare and circulate daily operational and customer service reports.
