Job Description

Education

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion Design / Textile Design
  • Bachelor’s in Fashion Design / Fine Arts / Textile Design from a reputed university or fashion institute (BUFT, Shanto-Mariam, NIFT, etc.)

Experience

    • 2 to 4 years

Additional Requirements

Experience:

  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience in menswear fashion (boutique, retail, or design house)
  • Proven experience in ethnic wear, including Panjabi, Sherwani, and Indo-Western apparel
  • Experience working with tailoring units or pattern masters is a plus

 

Design Skills:

  • Strong sketching ability (manual and digital)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar CAD software
  • Understanding of cuts, drapes, and garment construction
  • Familiarity with embroidery, embellishment techniques, and traditional finishing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research seasonal trends, fabrics, cuts, and motifs in ethnic menswear

  • Develop original sketches, CADs, mood boards, and tech packs for all product categories

  • Select suitable fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery techniques, and color palettes

  • Coordinate with tailoring and sample teams for pattern development and fittings

  • Supervise the production of sample garments and finalize approved designs

  • Collaborate with the marketing and branding team for shoot styling, concept alignment, and campaign prep

  • Maintain organized documentation of all sample developments, revisions, and collections
