Responsibilities & Context

  • Receive Purchase Requisition through SAP software , find out proper sources & collect quotation and ensure preparation of comparative statement based on the quotation and submit to management for getting approval & go ahead.

  • Ensure strict follow up of purchase procedure as prescribed by Company`s Managements authority time to time.

  • Timely placement of all orders through system as per schedule of fast track (TNA plan) and ensure proper follow up of the payment of party bills in consultation with accounts department.

  • Online booking & tracking of Purchase order.

  • Follow up with potential suppliers (nominated/non-nominated where applicable) for price & quality.

  • Cross check with suppliers ahead to get on time delivery.

  • Ensure delivery within required deadline & follow up TNA.

  • When bottlenecks are identified, this is communicated to the respective parties including the personnel & stakeholders.

  • Develop & measure key performance indicators to determine & improve the effectiveness of the procurement.

  • Maintain liaison with store/end users, current stock position, sample or drawings, MRR, QC, challan etc.

  • Need to find out the possibility of effective use of various non-moving/slow moving items and consume.

  • All payment (TT/FDD/LC/CHEQUE) follow-up with Commercialand Accounts team.

  • Perform any other job assigned by the Management time to time.
