Job Description

A progressive business house since 1959 and has been involved in the field of diversified businesses in the field of agro product, food processing real estate and distribution.

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Experience

    • 10 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG),Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies,Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM),Livestock

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 45 years
  • Candidate should have minimum 1-2 years experiences as Head of Sales / National Sales Manager / Divisional Sales Manager in FMCG / pharmaceutical/agro-based sector or in AI operating company.
  • Candidate should have minimum 5 years experiences as in charge of team of at least 20 sales officers.
  • Must have spent at least 5 years as overall In-Charge of a national distribution network of a significant size (minimum 100+ Channel).
  • Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and as an effective leader of a team must have a professional and courteous personality for dealing with Distributors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Proactively develop and implement sales strategies to drive market share and revenue growth.
  • Prepare annual sales budgets and forecasts in coordination with senior management.
  • Set and track monthly and yearly sales targets; analyze performance versus targets.
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Monitor daily sales activities and ensure effective field execution.
  • Supervise field operations regularly as per monthly schedule and maintain team coordination.
  • Conduct market surveillance to identify challenges, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Organize regular meetings with stakeholders, SPOs, technicians, and farmers.
  • Ensure timely product delivery and stock transparency through active coordination with distribution channel.
  • Analyze competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies.
  • Develop, implement and monitor strategic plans for effective execution leading to explore new opportunities for continuous business growth.
  • Support dealers/distributors through policy development and regular engagement.
  • Drive brand development and domestic market expansion.
  • Report monthly market intelligence on competitors, opportunities, and risks.

  • Meeting sales targets & objectives.
  • Market share growth – Strengthening & expanding distribution network.
  • Identification & development of new markets.
  • Implementation of initiatives and Sales & Marketing strategies, Retail strategy, Modern Trade, Institutional Sales.

  • Development of a market intelligence/ information system.
  • Training, development & monitoring of sales & distribution personnel.
