Responsibilities & Context
- Plan and manage production based on approved budgets and design requirements.
- Calculate producer capacity and lead time according to the production plan.
- Coordinate with designers and raw store teams to utilize available stock and finalize fabric selection.
- Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans and ensure on-time execution.
- Ensure layout and sample handover in coordination with the design team.
- Prepare layout/sample status reports including receipt, balance, and on-time status.
- Place fabric and material orders in collaboration with procurement and suppliers.
- Prepare and verify BOM (Bill of Materials) based on approved layouts and samples.
- Check fabric and raw material stock; arrange alternative sourcing when required.
- Ensure proper documentation and accuracy in layout/sample tech packs.
- Organize and conduct PP meetings, highlight any changes in PP vs. sample.
- Confirm labeling, trims, fabric shrinkage, stitching threads, and quality parameters.
- Handover production tech packs, fabric, trims, and work orders to producers.
- Monitor QC during production and resolve any quality or process-related issues.
- Coordinate with finance team for producer billing based on QC reports.
- Ensure timely delivery of final goods to the Finished Goods (FG) store.
- Regularly update production files and maintain strong communication with all departments.
- Conduct regular visits to producer factories and follow up on production progress.
